JOIN USYoung minds will be put to test at the final round of the Prajavani Quiz Championship which will be held on Wednesday at the Jnana Jyothi auditorium of the Central College campus on Palace Road.
The fourth edition of the quiz championship began on January 8 and was held in more than 800 schools across 10 cities.
In the preliminary stage, each participating school conducted a written test for their students to select the top three teams of two students each.
These three teams from each school then took part in a city-level competition where they were up against teams from other schools in a written test. From here, the top six teams were selected for the second round which was held on-stage.
After preliminary written tests at the school-level, regional rounds were held in Mysuru, Hassan, Mangaluru, Dharwad, Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Davangere and Tumakuru.
The regional round for Bengaluru city will be held in the first half of the competition on Wednesday.
The top three teams from each city will take part in the finals here.
With Deeksha as the co-presenters and Walnut Knowledge Solutions as the quiz partners, the final round of the quiz will test the students on their knowledge and speed.
One of the participants, A S Prajwal from Elite School, Hassan, said the quiz helped him improve his thinking skills.
The winner of the championship will get a cash reward of Rs 50,000, second prize winner will get Rs 30,000, and the third prize winner will get Rs 10,000.
