Don't be victims of fraud: Health dept to public

The members of the public are requested not to be the victims of fraud as miscreants, in the guise of Asha workers, are collecting money by assuring them of various health care services, like medicines for infertility, disabilities and treatments, for curing tuberculosis and other diseases.

In a press release, health department has appealed to the public not to entertain such people. The department is providing free health care services to some diseases, but not at Primary Health Care Centres. The public should approach police if they come across such fraud, the department has told people in the press release.
