JOIN USBengaluru FC reserve team were made to sweat before they secured a narrow 1-0 win over an improved FC Deccan in the BDFA Super Division League championship here on Sunday.
After a goalless first half, BFC managed to sneak ahead through Parag Srivas' header in the 65th minute at the Bangalore Football Stadium.
Parag's effort proved enough for the Blues, who kept the Deccan players at bay for the remaining minutes to come out on top.
BFC are second on the table with 13 points from six games while Deccan, who are yet to open their account, continue to languish at the bottom.
Earlier, an early strike from AD Kumar helped Income Tax edge past DYES 1-0 in the 'A' Division.
