Former minister B T Lalitha Naik on Sunday denied a claim by the All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) that she had joined the party.
"I have not joined AIMEP or any other party, and I have no intention to join any party in the coming days. This is my firm decision," Lalitha said.
The AIMEP had, in a statement released to the media recently, claimed that Lalitha had joined the party. The AIMEP had also released pictures of Lalitha meeting its leader Nowhera Shaik.
