State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa called AICC President Rahul Gandhi a 'bachha' (kid) on Wednesday.
"Congress is bringing that bachha here and campaigning in the state," Yeddyurappa said adding that BJP would win 150 seats in the election and come to power again.
He spoke at BJP's mass media convention in Udupi.
He accused Congress of neglecting the issue of poverty eradication. Even after seven decades of independence many people live in slums.
"This shows how the Congress cares for poor people. I don't say this as an election pitch but because BJP really wants to do good to poor people," he asserted.
He pointed out that polls would be held in 224 constituencies in April-May.
