Inergeia develops solar wind hybrid energy plant

Solar company Inergeia has developed the first solar wind energy plant of hybrid technology. This is a first of its kind in the state.

Addressing reporters here on Wednesday, company Director Arvind Kumar said that the set up will produce electricity round the clock using solar and wind energy. The production of energy using hybrid technology will boost the possibilities of utilisation of renewable resources. The vertical wind turbines have been designed to tap wind energy in an effective way. The technology will help maintain a good environment.

The plant has been set up ay Bava Fish Meal and Oil, owned by Riaz Bava in Mangaluru, he said.

He added that Inergeia has set up plants in various parts of the state. Suraj Shetty was present at the press meet.
