Jyothi Raj goes missing at Jog falls

Jyothi Raj, a rock climber from Chitradurga, who went down Jog Falls to retrieve the body of a man from Bengaluru who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into water falls a few days ago, has reportedly gone missing from the falls near Kargal, Sagar taluk on Tuesday.  

According to police, Manjunath had ended his life by jumping into water falls after writing a death note last week. Learning about it, his family members arrived at Jog on Tuesday. Jyothi Raj was called in to retrieve the body of Manjunath. He got into the falls in the morning. But Raj did not come till the evening. There was no communication from him. Jog and Siddapur police are camping at the water falls.
