Miscreants throw stones at police

Miscreants threw stones at the Shiralakoppa police who arrived at the Hubballi settlement, in their jeep to arrest four accused of theft.  

Police said that they had been to the settlement to arrest Mallavva and four others accused of theft and were searching for the houses of the accused, when the stone pelting occurred.  

Police personnel in the jeep escaped unharmed. A case is registered in the Bandageri police station.
