JOIN USA teenager was killed after he lost control of his bike and crashed the vehicle into the parapet of Domlur flyover on Tuesday.
The police said the accident occurred on the Indiranagar ramp of the flyover around 3.45 pm.
Parthibhan, was riding his neighbour's bike without a helmet when the accident took place. He didn't have a driving licence either. When he was taking a U-turn, he lost control of the bike and hit the parapet and fell down, the police said. "He sustained grievous injuries on his chest and head," said a senior police officer.
A few passers-by rushed him to Manipal Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Halasuru traffic police have registered a case of accidental death due to rash and negligent driving. Though his parents claim he was turning 18 this year, the police are yet to verify his legal age suspecting him to be a minor.
