A government bus driver was killed in a truck-bus collision on the national highway near Batawade, Tumakuru on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajashekar (28), driver of the NEKRTC bus. The bus was traveling from Sindhuru towards Bengaluru.
Traffic Police said that the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the lorry from behind. The blow caused the driver to fall out of the bus and he was crushed under the rear tire.
