Basket ball tourney

Nitte Education Trust Sports Cell, Nitte, will organise K S Hegde Memorial South Zone Invitational Basket Ball (M & W) tournament from March 23 to 25.

Former international basketball player Rashmi Yathiraj will inaugurate the tournament, while Pro Chancellor of Nitte deemed-to-be University N Vishal Hegde will be the guest of honour. Prof A Yogeesh Hegde, Registrar of NET campus, Nitte, will preside over the function.

The tournament is expecting 19 men's and 10 women's teams from different states of South India. Teams from institutes like SRM University, Paavai Engineering College, Erode Builders Engineering College, Calicut Engineering College, Trivandrum Engineering Institute will be competing in this tournament.
