Amit Shah's 3-day poll tour from tomorrow

BJP national president Amit Shah will be arriving on Sunday evening on a three-day visit to the state ahead of the Assembly polls.

Shah has a tight schedule during his visit wherein he is scheduled to tour Tumakuru, Shivamogga, Davangere and Chitradurga districts on March 26 and 27. He will also be visiting Siddaganga, Sirigere, Madara Channaiah and Muruga Mutts, conduct road shows, address coconut, arecanut growers conventions, among others.

Meanwhile, Union Minister incharge of BJP's Karnataka elections Prakash Javadekar on Saturday held the first meeting of the party's election management committee. State party president B S Yeddyurappa and senior leaders of the party attended the meeting.

Javadekar is learnt to have assigned specific responsibility to the leaders in conducting the party's campaign in the run-up to the polls.
