Chincholi MLA Dr Umesh Jadhav sustained injuries after the vehicle he was travelling turned turtle near Polakpalli in the taluk on Wednesday, reports DHNS from Chincholi (Kalaburagi district).
The accident occured when the MLA was travelling to Kotalapura. A vehicle of a Congress leader, in its attempt to overtake MLA's car, hit it from behind. As a result, the MLA's vehicle toppled and he sustained injuries on his head and left leg, hand. After first aid at the taluk hospital, the MLA was shifted to Tipu Sultan hospital in Kalaburagi. According to doctors, Dr Jadhav is out of danger.
