Promoting laughter in City
Thunderous laughter reverberated in the vicinity of Vidhana Soudha on Sunday when members of the Bangalore Nage Koota (Bangalore Laugher Club) decided to promote a stress-free and healthy way of life in the City on the occasion of World Laughter Day.
Wearing masks, sporting fancy dresses and holding placards, which conveyed messages about the importance of laughing, the members of the Koota marched in a procession from the Vidhana Soudha to YMCA Ground on Nrupathunga Road. The procession was flagged off by the Medical Education Minister Ramachandra Gowda.
The laughter caravan echoing the laughter Mantra of 'Ho Ho Ha Ha' had decked-up camels and horses.
Addressing the members of the laughter club at the YMCA, Minister Ramachandra Gowda said the Club is doing a great job of giving the mantra of a stress-free life to the people and bringing smiles to those who live stressful lives. Humourous programmes were also organised on the occasion.
