Dravida University Vice Chancellor Prof Kadapa Ramanayya, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy President Palthadi Ramakrishna Achar, Planning Commission Vice President A G Kodgi, Coastal Development Authority President B Nagraj Shetty Udupi MLA Raghupathy Bhat, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon and others will be the chief guests on the occasion, he added.
A number of conferences will be held on the contributions of Krishnadevaraya to the field of literature.
‘Sri Krishnadevaraya mathu Tulunadu’, ‘Sri Krishnadevarayana vamsha parampare’, ‘Vijayanagara kalada Barkuru’, ‘Sri Krishnadaevarayana kalada Tulunadu’, ‘Sahitya mathu sanskrithiyalli Sri Krishnadevaraya’, ‘Telugu sahityadalli Vijayanagara mathu Krishnadevaraya sahitya kratigalu’, ‘Krishnadevarayana rajyadaleetha mathu sanskrithi’, ‘pravasi sahityadalli Vijayanagara’ are some of the topics discussed in the conferences, he added.
Multi-lingual poets’ meet will be held on the occasion. Dr N Mogasale Kantavara will be the president. Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar will be the chief guest for the valedictory ceremony, he said.
