Head masters' transfer by June 26
The process was delayed due to GP polls
The Department of Public Instructions has decided to complete the transfer process of Government High School headmasters for the year 2010-11 by June 26.
The transfer process, which should have been conducted in April - May, was postponed in the wake of Gram Panchayat election code of conduct. The Commissioner for Department of Public Instructions K R Shashidhar has issued a circular directing officials to complete the process by June 26. A revised schedule also has been issued for the process.
The last date to submit affidavit will be June 22. The details regarding vacant posts will be posted in the Department website on May 26. The temporary priority list will be published in the website on May 28. The same list will also be displayed on the notice boards of offices of Block Education Officers, Deputy Directors of Public Instruction and State Commissioner. June 5 will be the last date to submit objections with regard to the temporary priority list.
Objections received at the DDPI offices should be forwarded to the Commissioner before June 9. The final priority list, mutual transfer list and list of vacancy will be released on June 16 and the counselling for transfer will be held on June 22 and 23. The counselling for mutual transfer will be held on June 25 and the complaints will be addressed on June 26, stated a press release.
