JOIN USChairman A C Shanmugam, Mayilswamy Annadurai, Project Director, Chandrayana-1, ISRO; Padmashri R M Vasagam, former vice-chancellor Anna University, Chennai; film artistes Avinash and Muni, principal, staff, students and parents graced the occasion.
The function started with a prayer song followed by welcome address by the Group Executive Officer V R Shanmugam.
The chairman presided over the function and inspired students by asking them to become job-makers rather than job-seekers. Chief guest Mayil Swamy Annadurai also addressed the gathering. He mentioned that any person can become a scientist and occupy the highest position in any techniques of engineering if he knows the various techniques prevailing in his field of education.
Avinash and Muni shared a few words with the students and distributed prizes to them. The Principal of Rajarajeswari College of Engineering presented a brief college annual report and the inaugural function culminated with a vote of thanks presented by vice principal Mallikarjun B Adi. Later, the students of the college entertained the audience with some mind-blowing cultural performances.
Graduation Day
The Graduation Day for the final year students of HKBK College of Engineering was celebrated recently at the college campus.
T Sudhakar Rao, Executive Director (HR), HAL distributed the mementos and certificates to students. Abdul Hameed S A (administrator), presided over the function and felicitated the chief guest. He reminded the students about the sacrifices their parents have made in educating them and asked them to remember their teachers who moulded their lives. Chaitanya Kumar, Principal, administered the oath to the students.
