'Set right anomalies in forest land area'

A revised notification in this regard must be issued, said District-in-Charge Minister Ramachandre Gowda.  Speaking to presspersons after the review meeting on Tuesday, he said officials meeting will be convened on July 3.

The iron ore laden lorries have spoiled the roads in the district including at Sringeri. Needed action should be initiated to ban the movement of iron ore laden lorries, he said.  He also directed the officials to fell branches of the trees which are coming in the way of electricity supply in Malnad region. District Surgeon was asked to give insulin to the diabetic patients who possess BPL card. On delay in issue of certificates to students at Nemmadi Kendra owing to the disruption in power supply and shortage of staff, the Minister directed the officials to -issue hand written certificates.

On Kadur Chikmagalur railway line, MP D V Sadananda Gowda said railway officials meeting will be convened on July 3. 13 acre land needs to be acquired. In the available amount, the work will be completed till Chikmagalur. Railway Suggestion Committee meeting will be held on June 24. The meet will discuss on the extension of Kadur and Tarikere station.
