Panel on disability law seeks time

The committee constituted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to draft a new Persons With Disability Act has sought more time from the ministry.
Speaking to the Deccan Herald J P Gadkari, President of Parivaar, advocacy group for the intellectually challenged said during the first meeting of the committee held on June 10, the Ministry was approached seeking extension of the August deadline to submit the new draft law.
