The villagers submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, demanding the ban on the movement of timber lorries on Ballavara-Lalbagh-Kathlekhan road.

They said that the frequent plying of vehicles have damaged the roads.  They informed that there  are huge pot holes on the road, which are posing threat to the lives of the people.
Lorries transport coffee tree branches from Lalbagh situated in Nandigave village of Narasimharajapura.

Apart from this they also informed that the recently repaired road between the estates of Kurukanamatti and Mascal Maradi have also been damaged.

Villagers said that the road is unmotorable and hence the authorities concerned must pay attention to the issue and take measures to repair the road at the earliest.
