Study finds Indian workforce most aspiring
Ma Foi Randstad, a leading HR services company has released the second wave of Ma Foi Randstad Workmonitor on Wednesday.
The ‘Ma Foi Randstad Workmonitor’ is a quarterly review of “mental mobility status” of employees i.e. their readiness to change jobs. As part of this process, the state of mind of workers is studied in 25 countries encompassing Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, compared amongst countries and finally presented in the form of an index.
As per the study, Indian workforce continues to remain the most mobile in the world with an uptrend compared to Q1 (147 in Q2 and 140 in Q1). The study shows that Indian employees are also the most aspiring in the world (89 per cent) followed by those in Mexico and China. This is well above the global weighted average of 60 per cent.
