British Airways allowing more baggage for students

The airlines has decided to allow them to carry 23 kg excess baggage without any charge. The airways has announced this special officer on baggage for students flying out of Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai to destinations in UK, places in Europe, Canada and the Unietd States.

Those flying out of Hyderabad will get a discount of Rs 4,000. According to British Airways statistic, nearly 1.6 lakh students from India travel toward the West for higher studies. 
Judy Jarvis, British Airways, Regional Commercial Manager (South Asia) said that students travelling abroad normally carry more baggage especially if it is a maiden trip.  "This offer has helped increase the baggage limit for student and dependents travelling with them," he said.  British Airways has extended the offer only to students.
