Minister lays foundation for Veda Vignana Samste
Minister for Higher Education Aravind Limbavali who is also in-charge of the district laid foundation stone to the National Veda Vigjana Samste at Narasimhatirtha on the outskirts of Mulbagal on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion he said that, Seer Vigjnananidhitirtha of Sripadaraja Mutt in his endeavour to make people known about the relation between Veda and Science has started this institute and wished all the success in his attempt.
Senior seer of Mutt Vigjnananidhitirtha, Keshavanidhitirtha, Member of Legislative Council D S Veeraiah, BJP District Unit President N Lakshmaiah, BJP State Slum Morcha President Y S Surendra Gowda, Town Municipal Council Member P M Krishnamurthy, Secretary of the Mutt Jayaraj, Vyasarao, Venkatesh, Veda Vigjana Samste Director Dr Suresh Kankadi, Billambhimanna and others were present.
The Minister also offered pooja at Vinayaka temple in Kurudumale village.
Villagers unhappy
Villagers were eagerly for Limbavali, who is also District in-charge minister. But the Minister arrived late by more than three hours and left the village after the inauguration programme.
The people were waiting to submit their grievances and were expecting for solutions, but the Minister did not even stop to listen to their grievances.
