The House witnessed chaotic scenes when the Opposition members broke microphones and virtually came to blows with ruling alliance MLAs and MLCs, demanding resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after the CAG alleged financial irregularities of Rs 11,412 crore by the government.
Assembly Speaker Udai Narain Choudhry during the five-day monsoon session ruled that the court and CBI had no right to investigate alleged irregularities detected in the CAG report so long as it was under the consideration of the House.
