Kapil Dev bowls to British PM

New Delhi, July 29, (PTI):

British Prime Minister David Cameron today showed his skills with the cricket bat as he played out a few deliveries bowled to him by the legendary Kapil Dev.

Kapil Dev, India's only world cup wining captain, sent down a few ball to the British premier when he visited the national stadium to have a look at the Coomnwealth Games venues.
National stadium, which hosted the hockey World Cup in early this year, is a venue for the CWG hockey event also.

Cameron had words of appreciation for the renovated facility and also wished the organisers success for the Games.

Apart from Kapil, another former Indian cricket captain Bishan Singh Bedi, legendary runner Milkha Singh and sprint queen P T Usha were also part of the delegation invited on the occasion.

The British delegation included Sebastian Coe, head of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, Kelly Holmes, president of Commonwealth Games England, Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave and Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive of the English Premier League.
