MJ's never-before-heard songs to be released

Los Angeles, Jul 31 (PTI)

'King of Pop' Michael Jackson is all set to rule the charts once again, with a posthumous album featuring 10 never-before-heard songs from the singer, to be released this November.

At the time of his death, the 'Thriller' hitmaker had left hard drives filled with previously unreleased music. His former manager Frank DiLeo estimates that MJ's vaults contain more than 100 completed and unreleased songs, including collaborations with stars like Akon, will.i.am and Ne-Yo, Billboard.com reported.

The songs are said to be included in the the upcoming album, alongside his blockbuster hits from the 1980s.

"There are a couple of songs we recorded for the Bad album that we had to cut that are just sensational," Dileo said.

A spokesperson for the Jackson estate confirms that the new record will be the first in a 10-project, seven-year deal worth USD 250 million that the estate executors signed with Sony Music in March, earlier this year.Jackson died on June 25 last year due to a drug overdose, at the age of 50.
