‘Lokayukta has list of Cong leaders involved in mining

Kadur, August 4, DHNS:

The leaders making futile bid to save themselves, alleges minister

District-in-Charge Minister Ramachandra Gowda said that Lokayukta has prepared a list of Congress leaders engaged in mining in the State and these leaders have been making futile attempts to save themselves by taking help from the Centre.

Addressing a news conference at Kadur on Wednesday, he said that with their own people engaged in illegal mining, the Congress members going on Padayathra against Ministers from Bellary is a matter of shame and disgrace.

“The Government has given all details pertaining to mining to the Lokayukta. The office of the Lokayukta has prepared its list and is all set to take action,” he said and added that BJP will organise Jana Jagruti Sabhe to ensure that false perceptions are not developed in the minds of the people because of Congress’ Padayathra.

With regard to Dattapeeta issue, he said that the repair works of the cave will be started soon.

MLA C T Ravi, Chief Whip Jeevaraj, Tarikere MLA Suresh, Theerthahalli MLA Araga Jnanendra, Kadur BJP President Rajashekar among others were present.
