Nabard releases Rs 41 crore for roads

 Phalahara Swamy Mutt Road, Lakkumanahalli-Sadarahalli-Belavadi Road, Nellur-Kalledevarahalli-Undedasarahalli-Pais Compound Road have also been included in the present list.  Rs 264 lakh has been released under the Suvarna Rasthe scheme. A proposal of Rs 625 lakh had been submitted. About 36 projects will be undertaken as per the scheme. A proposal of Rs 244 lakh for the development of Kadur and Tarikere taluks has also been submitted, the sources said. The jail construction project, that is being carried out for the past 28 years, still requires Rs 150 lakh. Sources said administrative block, training school, kitchen, women’s barrack, staff quarters will be constructed once the government releases required amount.
