Catholic group protests Kerala prof's dismissal
The Kerala Catholic Federation (KCF) today described the Newman college's decision to dismiss prof T J Joseph, who was attacked by PFI activists for preparing a questioning paper which allegedly hurt sentiments of a community, a 'talibanism' being practised by the cathoic church.
The management decision was 'unkindest cut of all', Federation's President, Joy Paul Pudussery said in a statement here.
The Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) and the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council (KCBC) have transgressed all the boundaries of 'morality' by justifying the heinous act of the college management, he alleged. ptic orr ud VHN VHN 09061822
