'Government is neglecting working class'

The problems of working sector has been given a raw deal by the government. From marginal farmers to land less agricultural labourers, construction workers to anganwadi workers and pourakarmikas, the problems are plenty. But the government has turned a blind eye to their issues, he remarked.

“The BJP government had promised to provide 35 kilograms of rice at Rs two to each family. But it is yet to fulfill its promise. Instead, the government is providing opportunities for investors and capitalists,” he said. He urged the government to withdraw price hike of the essential commodities stating the working class is unable to bear the rise in price.

Aadima Shakti Krishi Kooli Karmikara Sangha, Karnataka State Gram Panchayat Employees Association and other organisations had participated.

Chengalaraya Reddy, Venkatesh, M A Sathyanarayan and others were present.
