Popular Kannada, Tamil actor Murali dead

Popular Tamil and Kannada film actor, Murali, died at a private hospital here this morning, following a sudden and massive cardiac arrest late last night.

He was 45 years old and is survived by his wife Ms. Shoba, two sons Adharva and Akash, besides a daughter Kavya.

Murali acted in 99 films, within a short time-span, sources close to family said. Several film artistes and film industry personalities, including South Superstar Rajnikanth, paid floral tributes to the young and versatile artiste.

The cremation is scheduled to take place here tomorrow, sources said. Murali is the son of popular Kannada film director Siddalingiah.
