Keep promise, BJP workers tell CM
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had promised to give a place for Kodagu in the Cabinet during election campaign in Shanivarasanthe. Without forgetting the promise, the CM should provide a minister’s post to MLA M P Appachu Ranjan, said Somwarpet BJP unit.
Addressing a press meet, Somwarpet unit President Somesh recalled the CM’s promise during the election campaign in Shanivarasanthe and said “CM had asked us to work for BJP’s victory, so that he will give a post for Kodagu.”
During S M Krishna’s reign, three persons from the district were given ministership. During the JD(S) government, one was inducted into the cabinet. Unfortunately, during BJP’s reign, no one from Kodagu is given a place in the cabinet, he lamented.
