Leaders of various political parties of Chikkanayakanahalli taluk have expressed their concern over the irregular power supply in rural areas, which have been causing serious problems for the general public.  

BJP leader Sreenivasa Murthy has alleged that BESCOM department of the region is not following any rules in supplying power in rural areas. Moreover, farmers are in deep trouble due to irregular power supply in rural areas.

The authorities concerned should  provide power for at least 6 hours everyday and customers be given proper information about load shedding, he added.

The authorities concerned should  resolve the problem at the earliest, or else the Party will launch farmers’ protest against the authority concerned, he cautioned.

Block Congress president B N Shivaprakash, KPCC member Krishnaiah and town Congress President K G Krishne Gowda have demanded the BESCOM to take suitable action against the inadequate supply of power which has been effecting the students, farmers and the public in general.
