After the kids had settled, Ventriloquist G B Rangashaie walked onto the stage holding his ‘dummy boy’. “Keep quiet,” he told the lifeless, plastic boy. “Keep quiet!” the dummy replied, and students roared with laughter.
Earlier in the day, a musical score by Laxmana Suvarna and Rincy Benny’s amazing voice blending with the music was what some of the students called “wow!”.
Well-known TV face R Dayanand performing an impressive mimicry show. He accurately acted several persons on stage, which drew applause even from the rear rows.
R Sumanth’s shadow play performance behind a shilhouette using his skilled hands had kids guessing the moving animal shapes.
Towards the end of the show, the kids walked out in a file waving at the performers on the stage, visibly impressed by the out-of-the-ordinary outing they had from their everyday schedule.
