Taxi drivers fleece passengers At Cantonment railway station, half the taxi drivers affiliated to the Bangalore and Airport Taxi Drivers Union joined the strike while the others chose to exploit the situation by fleecing passengers. Even those who took part in the strike carried on their business on the sly between 4 am and 7 am.
Three held for train heist Three youths were nabbed by the Railway police in connection with a train heist case. Lokesh alias Kencha (23) of Nelamangala, Rangaswamy (19) of Hassan and Mushabbir alias Sadi (20) of Mysore were arrested. Their leader Manja is still at large.
