Three held for train heist
Bangalore, DHNS:
Three youths were nabbed by the Railway police in connection with a train heist case. Lokesh alias Kencha (23) of Nelamangala, Rangaswamy (19) of Hassan and Mushabbir alias Sadi (20) of Mysore were arrested. Their leader Manja is still at large.

Rashida Bano was travelling in a train on Jan 15 with her two sons when the men allegedly snatched her purse and cell phone at knife-point.

On Monday the police found the three men standing in a suspicious manner at the Bangalore Railway Station. They were detained, and during interrogation they confessed to robbing Rashida.

Girl ends life
A girl committed suicide at her Rajajinagar residence on Monday.

Police said, Neha (17), a first year diploma student in MEI College took the drastic step after she was rebuked by her parents for scoring less marks in the exam.

Her father Parashiva Murthy is an electricity contractor at Tumkur while mother is working with Veerashaiva Co-operative Bank, said the police.

Theft: 2 held
Two youths were arrested on charges of theft of of gold ornaments worth Rs 14 lakh from an antique show room .

Sanjay (27) and Deepak (25) natives of Uttar Pradesh, had been hired by the New Heritage Collection  for some repair work. While repairing they had planned the theft, said the sources.
