SAVE ARKAVATHI CAMPAIGN
Bangalore, DHNS:

A consortium of organisations under the banner of Save Arkavathi River Campaign is taking out a 10-day padayatra along the route of river Arkavathi from January 26. The padayatra aims to study and document the factors that are responsible for the current state of the river.

     The 190-km padayatra starting at Nandi Hills will involve officers, representatives from private and public sector and NGOs. Those interested can take part in the padayatra.
