Ganguly needs to shake off his disappointment
From R Kaushik, DH News Service, Adelaide: Through the fielding drills in the afternoon, the 35-year-old was grim-faced; by the time the team had retired to the adjacent nets, he was visibly battling to stay focussed and concentrated, and clearly losing the battle.

It has affected the journalists more: Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni made it clear that as far as the Indian team was concerned, Perth was over and done with, and while they could derive confidence from having beaten Australia at the Adelaide Oval four years back, that would count for little in the fourth Test beginning on Thursday.
Aussies will be aggressive, warns Jaques
Looking forward to the return of his opening partner for six of his seven Tests so far, Phil Jaques declared on Tuesday that Australia would be as aggressive as possible in the series-deciding final Test against India beginning on Thursday.
Sharapova halts Henin
Reputations count for little in Grand Slam tennis as champion Serena Williams and world number one Justine Henin found on Tuesday, both put to the sword at the quarterfinal stage of the Australian Open.
Sania-Bhupathi enter semis
An upset second round win followed by a walkover in the quarterfinals ensured Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza a berth in the last four of the mixed doubles event at the Australian Open here today.

    Prez Rule in or out?
There are reports that suggest extension of the President's Rule in Karnataka. Is that a right move or should the elections be held sooner?

Readers were invited to express their opinion. Most felt that the polls should be held preferably in April or May, in the interest of democracy so that the BJP may be given a chance to form the government. Some readers said that the elections should be deferred as no party has a majority and another coalition government would be a big mistake.
