Speaking at the event the president of P R Thippeswamy Cultural association and social worker M P Gautam said “ Children can express their mind with a myriad of colours on the canvas and some of these simple thoughts can give us solutions to the most complicated problems in the society.”
The meet was presided over by the principal of Ravindra Kalaniketana Arts College, Baburao Kundagol. Twenty five children and people involved in social service were also felicitated at the programme. Among those honoured include Dr Muralidhar, Adalgere Prakash, M C Kumar, K Asoka Kumar and others.
A exhibition of paintings created by 30 students of J D school of art was also held. The paintings depicted the various problems being faced by society.
Dance and cultural programme was held and Janapada piece was the highlight of it.
