At another movie premiere, superstars took time off from their busy schedules one evening to watch superhero Hancock’s well -intended but misunderstood heroics. Will Smith-starrer Hancock that premiered at the Inox, was attended by some of Sandalwood’s prominent faces. Actor Ramesh Aravind was there with his family. “Smith was a weird kind of superhero, but he was great fun to watch. I’ve enjoyed reading superman type comics since I was a kid and miss no opportunity to watch this genre of movies. There is so much to learn in terms of technique and graphics. Each movie is a learning experience,” he said.
Actress Tara and director of Aa Dinagalu, Chaitanya also enjoyed the movie. In fact, Tara even wondered what it would be like if she had super powers. This is what actress Varsha had to say after watching the movie. “The trailers were awesome and I was looking forward to watching the movie. It’s lived up to my expectations and the twist in the story is superb.”
Wondering what Smith’s character is like in this action-comedy? Then this is straight from the horse’s mouth. “Hancock is like a high school quarterback with all the talent in the world, but who can’t get his attitude right. He does not realise that his team is not winning, because he does not understand the beauty of team work.” The movie also features Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman and Eddie Marsan.
