As I struggle to make my mark
in the ever shifting sands of time.
Then
I look around and see
Others who are quite like me
And I find among them
People who seem to like me
I may still be a drop
In a vast ocean,
But I know now, that an ocean
Is made of several little drops.

THE BEND THAT CAME TOO FAST
Aimless walks together we took
Taking into each other's heart a look
Was it unhappy and sad
Or was it simply glad
If it was sad then its the end of bother
Cause we were there for each other
If it was glad then the wind fairy,
With it laughter would carry.
Many did envy the bond we shared
For the honesty in our bond we cared
Everyone said we were the best of the best of friends
But whose life doesn't have its bends?
The bend came to fast, too soon,
Would our friendship last?
Would we ever again take those walks?
And ever have those talks?
O friend! Why did you spoil me so?
Not a tear from my eyes would you allow to flow,
How much in the phone can be carried
When I feel lost and buried.
O friend I do hope life has straighter paths
Lined with shady trees
Where we could sit and dream
And maybe one day meet.
