It was decided to convert 25 villages in Dakshina Kannada as model village, at a developmental discussion held at Prajna Counselling Centre. Apna Desh and Jana Shikshana Trust has taken the responsibility to convert 25 villages into a model village through shramadhan and co-operation from the people. An action plan towards dispute free village, Sampoorna saksharatha, setting up of munduvarika shikshana centres was also discussed.
The meeting decided to make 25 villages in Bantwal, Belthangady, Puttur, Sullia as model villages.
