The State Government has served notice to 44 KAS officers for not filing affidavits of their assets and liabilities, PWD minister told the Legislative Assembly in response to a question by JD(S) member C S Puttegowda.
The Minister said six super time scale KAS officers, eight selection grade officers, 21 senior grade officers and nine junior officers have not filed affidavits of assets and liabilities. The govt has served notice to all of them. Based on the reply, action will be taken. He said Lokayukta has filed cases on charges owning properties disproportionate to known sources of income against five KAS officers.
