Releasing its election campaign CDs/DVDs at the party office in Bangalore, JD(S) General Secretary Danish Ali said that both the national parties were for a bi-polar political system and keen to decimate any potential third force.
“They have made hollow promises in their respective election manifesto, while during their rule farmers committed suicide and the power situation in the State only worsened,” said Ali.
He added that secularism is alive in the State only because the JD (S) is still a formidable force to reckon with in the State.
Earlier, party campaign committee president Abdul Azeem said the party would most likely release its election manifesto on Sunday.
The JD(S) formally released two short-films in the form of CDs and DVDs, focusing on the achievements of the previous H D Kumaraswamy Government.
These films will be screened at party’s election campaign venues across the State. Besides, they will be aired in TV channels and cable networks.
While one of the films is about Kumaraswamy’s overall achievements - ‘Karnatakavannu Nedesubaa, the other is about Bangalore development -- Nava Bengalurina Kanasugara.
