Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. Hunsur (Mysore dt) recorded one cm rainfall. Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka. Raichur and Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.2 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
