Meet on Anganwadis
An ‘Open forum on Anganwadis’ is being organised by Sutradhar. Anganwadis are centres run by the government for children under six years of age. NGOs such as Akshara, MAYA, Belaku Trust and National Law School that are working on enhancing anganwadis, will share their experiences on Monday, August 6, 4 pm at Aashirwad, St Mark's Road, opp SBI. International symposium
Sagar Apollo Hospital is hosting an International Symposium on ‘Emergency and Critical Care’ on August 18 and 19 at the Dr C D Sagar Auditorium, DSI Campus, Shavige Malleswara Hills, Kumaraswamy Layout. Experienced national and international speakers are expected to cover all aspects of adult and paediatric care with a gamut of information on medical emergencies and critical care. Quiz on India
Christ Junior College is commemorating the 60 years of India’s independence and 150 years of the first war of independence with a state-level quiz competition on August 11 for students of class XI and XII (PUC). The quiz is said to cover events that contributed to India’s growth in the fields of politics, economy, culture, science, sports and entertainment, among others. First and second prize include Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively along with certificates for all finalists and audience prizes.
