TREAMIS World School (www.treamis.org) was started by a group of professionals from the USA and India to bring true global education to Bangalore. Their dream of combining the best of global education and Indian curriculum resulted in an innovative, unique campus specially designed structurally and academically to suit the need of today’s world.
The objective of Treamis is to develop today’s children into holistic global citizens of tomorrow. The school provides an exceptional education milieu for children to easily transition their learning process to schools/universities worldwide.
Treamis plans to provide the true global educational experience by teaming up with Morgan Park Academy and Lake Forest Academy, two of the top 5 schools in the state of Illinois, US. The schools jointly develop curriculum for the students of Treamis. Students from Treamis will study abroad as an exchange student in these schools at no additional cost to parents. They work with the students abroad on research and class assignments and experience the global team work at an early age. Treamis teachers acquire first hand knowledge of best teaching techniques through faculty exchange programmes with the US schools.
Global curriculum
Treamis curriculum at the lower level (Grades 1-7), is drawn from the best of national and international curriculum. It seamlessly integrates with the rest of the world allowing students to transfer the learning process to anywhere in the world. At the higher level, students can choose national (CBSE), International (IGCSE – Cambridge University /IB) and American College Board programmes.
Content delivery
Teaching at Treamis, is driven by student inquiries and reasoning. Lectures are supplemented by an active learning experience. Students involve in simulations, role-plays, unconventional writing exercises, exploration of scenarios, and self-paced and team-based learning like field visit/work, case studies and execution of research based projects.
Class size limited to 20 students per classroom ensures individual attention.
Sprawling over 11 acres of land near Electronics City, Bangalore, the campus houses school, student dormitory and staff quarters.
Fees
Parents who enroll the children before Dec. 31 are considered as Founder Parents. Founder Parents get 50% discount on the fees and continuation of this discount ‘year after year’ as long as the students stay at Treamis without any academic break.
