the Australia Federal Court today upheld a judge's decision to reinstate the work visa of the Indian doctor Haneef who was wrongly accused of links to the failed UK terror plot five months ago and forced to leave the country. Torrential rain caused a delay to the start of their match against state side Victoria and thunderstorms and heavy rain later in the day forced the abandonment after tea. India lost Sourav Ganguly (59) and reached 133 for four before rain put paid to their hopes for a good practice before the Test series.
Warne backs Tendulkar to score lots of runs 
Warne, who mastered the art of leg spin but failed to solve an enigma called Tendulkar during his illustrious career, warned Australia to write off the "great" player at their own peril. "I don't believe just because he is getting old, he is finished. I expect Sachin to get lot of runs," Warne said.
Hogg would do well against India, feels Warne
Warne admitted supple wrists and nimble footwork of the Indian batsmen make them the best players of spin bowling but still believes Hogg would make his mark in the Test series. "India plays the spinners extremely well, but Australian pitches are different...'' Warne added.
