The railway minister will be arriving to Tumkur in a special train and will take the road route to Chitradurga.
Memorandum
Pro-Kannada organisations have decided to submit a memorandum to the railway minister urging him to provide prominence to the Kannadigas in the recruitment of ‘D’ grade employees.
Apart from this, delay in the survey work of the Kalyandurga rail route, direct rail network to Bangalore-Tumkur-Sira-Chitradurga, and several others demands will also be placed before the minister for his consideration. The groups will also hold a symbolic protest on the occasion to ensure that the minister listens to their demands.
