Bicycles distributed

Kushalnagar, dhns:  Students should make use of the government facilities for a better future, said Zilla Panchayat member H S Ashok.

He was speaking after distributing bicycles to the students of Thorenooru Government High School.
He called upon the students to follow the traffic rules while riding bicycle.  Head teacher B V Rathnakar also spoke.

School Development and Monitoring Committee President T B Jagadish presided.

Awareness jaatha today

Chikmagalur, dhns: The jaatha to create political awareness organised by the Popular Front of India will reach Chikmagalur on February 12.

Addressing a press meet, Jaatha Convenor Abdul Lathif said a public meet will be held at Bolarameshwara temple premises.

KFD Vice-President Dr Avad Sharif will preside. Later jaatha will move towards Shimoga, Mr Lathif added.
